MOSFILM Film Studio
The country's oldest film factory was founded almost a century ago on the basis of two nationalized photo studios. On January 30, 1924, the first film created by the staff of the new studio, On the Wings of Heaven, was released on big screens. This day became the official birthday of Mosfilm, and the film was included in the golden fund of Russian cinema.
Now the flagship of the Russian film industry occupies a huge territory of more than 30 hectares. More than a hundred films, television series, commercials and other cinematic products are shot here in 16 permanent pavilions every year. In total, Mosfilm has released several thousand full-length films, including a huge number of real masterpieces.
Not so long ago, the famous film factory opened its doors to everyone who wants to touch the secrets of the film industry and look behind the scenes of this mysterious world. During your visit to the studio, you will discover amazing facts from the biographies of your favorite actors, see how films are actually created and what titanic work is behind every successful film premiere.

The State Tretyakov Gallery
The Tretyakov Gallery was founded by industrialist Tretyakov in 1856. The history of the largest museum began with a relatively small collection of paintings and drawings by Russian artists. The philanthropist not only collected paintings by talented painters, he officially supported little-known and novice, but promising authors: Makovsky, Vasnetsov, Pryanishnikov and many others.
At the end of the 19th century, the gallery received the status of a national museum with free admission for everyone. A little later, Tretyakov donated the collection and the mansion in Lavrushinsky Lane to Moscow. The philanthropist himself, by decision of the City Duma, became the lifelong guardian of his brainchild.
After the revolution, the gallery turned into the main art center of the young state, which, according to the new doctrine, was supposed to reflect the stages of development of the Soviet Union. The collection has been expanded with a huge number of works from nationalized private collections. In 1924, three branches were incorporated into the museum at once.: Museum of Iconography and Painting, Tsvetkov Gallery, Museum of Pictorial Culture. Currently, the Tretyakov Gallery includes: the main building and the Engineering Building in Lavrushinsky Lane, the New Tretyakov Gallery on Krymsky Val, the Tretyakov House in 1st Golutvinsky Lane, the Church of St. Nicholas in Maly Tolmachevsky Lane, the Vasnetsov House Museum and the Vasnetsov apartment museum, Golubkina's workshop, the Korin House Museum.

Moscow Planetarium
The oldest planetarium in Russia was opened in 1927 on the initiative of the Presidium of the Moscow City Council, which allocated an incredible amount of 250 thousand rubles for the creation of a new type of scientific and educational organization. With this money, an egg-shaped building was built with a huge hall with 1,400 seats and a unique dome. The volume of the interior space was emphasized by spiral staircases arranged so that the streams of people entering and exiting did not intersect with each other.
Especially for this unique project, the government of the young state ordered astronomical equipment from the German company Carl Zeiss, which at that time had no analogues. During the recent reconstruction, it was decided to preserve the historical equipment as museum exhibits.
The interior of the planetarium is divided into several levels. The 4D cinema, the Small Star Hall and part of the exposition of the interactive museum "Lunarium" dedicated to physics and astronomy occupy the underground floor. On the first level there are halls of the Urania Museum and another department of the Lunarium (the history of space exploration and the planetarium itself).
On the second floor there is a collection of historical Zeiss equipment and astronomical instruments, an interactive playground "Sky Park" and the largest publicly accessible telescope in Moscow. On the upper level, just under the dome, there is a Large Starry Hall – it is from here that you can watch the movement of thousands of stars, planets, comets and meteors across the sky in real time.
