Zaryadye Park in Moscow
Would you like to see the Moskva River embankment and the Kremlin from the panoramic platform? Then the floating bridge is just for you. However, this is not all that Zaryadye Park has to offer for tourists and residents of the capital. There are museums, restaurants, futuristic objects, and historical monuments on its territory. Nature and technology are successfully combined here. You can spend time in this place all day, while visitors will not experience a state of fatigue or boredom.
The park was opened in 2017. This project was created by a group of international experts from various fields: landscape designers, urbanists and architects. Their labors were not in vain. The park almost immediately received many national awards. An article in Time magazine deserves special attention. The publishing house has included Zaryadye in the list of the best places in the world. The visit is available to everyone around the clock. However, in order not only to take a walk, but also to enter any establishments, you need to study their work schedule:
- Concert hall - every day from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- ice cave - on Monday from 14:00 to 19:40, from Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 to 19:40;
- Zaryadye Gastronomic Center, Voskhod restaurant - daily from 12:00 to midnight;
- Shops, the dome, the underground museum, the media center, and the embassy are open on Monday from 14:00 to 20:00, and from Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 to 20:00.

Park infrastructure
Zaryadye occupies a total area of 10 hectares. The construction of the park's facilities lasted for 3 years - from 2014 to 2017, the competition for the best concept of the park was held internationally. The tender for the project was won by an American architectural company.
The uniqueness of Zaryadye is the location of its facilities, most of them are underground. This step was dictated by the fact that the designers wanted to preserve the panoramic views of the center of Moscow. Especially for picnickers, the park has many lawns and playgrounds with benches.
1. Media Center
A huge pavilion that will interest any visitor. Here are located:
- Ticket offices with sales for all attractions and exhibitions.
- A media studio for conducting master classes.
- Exhibition hall for temporary exhibitions (lower floor).
- Attractions "Time machine" and "Flight".
- Interactive kiosks with park plans and event posters.
- Underground parking.
- Tourist information center.
- Cafe.
- Toilet.
2. The "Reserved Embassy"
The pavilion is necessary for natural science experiments for children and adults, as well as for holding all kinds of lectures. There are biolabs with advanced equipment here. To participate in the event, a future participant is required to pay a fee and register on the official Zaryadye website.
There is a conference room, a gift shop, a cafe and a toilet in the room.
A special feature of the pavilion is the existing greenhouse with a glass roof "Florarium". There are 30 species of plants growing in it.
3. "The Ice Cave"
The opening of the Ice Cave theme center fell in the middle of spring 2018. This object is a glacier with columns, arches, and an ice maze. Everything is very reminiscent of the vast landscapes of the Far North. On the territory of this pavilion, the temperature is always maintained below zero - an average of -7 degrees Celsius. For summer excursions, you will need warm clothes or an on-site purchase of a woolen blanket.
4. The Underground Museum
Interactive Archaeological Museum. Here you can find things related to the XIV-XVIII centuries, which were found on the territory of Kitay-gorod and Zaryadye.
5. The Dome Pavilion
This location is an information object where you can use a QR code to learn about all the nuances of creating a park. It is not difficult to find the pavilion - it is located at the entrance to Zaryadye.
6. The gastronomic center
There are 8 cafes and the Voskhod restaurant. Dishes can be ordered for every taste, from dumplings to oysters.
What to do and what will be interesting in Zaryadye Park
Landscapes and green areas
Zaryadye has a pleasant combination of green landscapes in relief, located at various levels. In addition, the hilly terrain is also visible here. There is a small difference between the low and high point in the park, which is about 27 meters. The indisputable heritage of the park is a huge number of all kinds of plants. At least 1 million species are represented on its territory.
Zaryadye was originally conceived as a unique location where it is possible to observe the natural diversity of Russia with its geographical and climatic zones:
- Meadows with wild flowers.
- Floodplains of rivers.
- Northern landscapes or tundra with its small trees and lichens.
- Steppe with flowering grasses and grains from temperate zones.
- Mixed forest with deciduous and coniferous trees, pine and juniper.
For lovers of picturesque places, there is a private birch grove. If you don't have enough reservoirs, then you can find ponds on the territory that are decorated with aquatic vegetation and coastal plants related to the Moscow region.
Floating bridge across the Moskva RiverThe floating bridge is the most recognizable landmark of this park. It resembles the shape of a boomerang or the Latin letter “V.” Its length is more than 240 meters, and its height reaches 15 meters. Among the locals, this structure is called an “unfinished bridge” because it has a characteristic appearance.
Entering it, tourists can enjoy a wonderful view of St. Basil's Cathedral, the Kremlin, or the first Stalinist high-rise building, which is 176 m high. There is no charge for entry to the floating bridge. It's a great place for selfies.
According to rumors, it is here that it is possible to see all five Kremlin stars at the same time.
Concert halls and events
Entertainment programs take place in the indoor and outdoor concert halls.
Zaryadye Concert Hall
Zaryadye Concert Hall is a unique object made by Japanese Yasuhisa Toyota. The building was created taking into account international standards, so it has high-quality acoustics. The facility is divided into 2 philharmonic halls. The first one is designed for 1,500 people, and the second one is smaller - for only 400 spectators.

A large Amphitheater
The large amphitheater is located outdoors, connected by underground passages to the Zaryadye Concert Hall.Its capacity is designed for 1,500 seats. It's nice to watch movies or concerts here.
Every visitor can get to know the concert hall and amphitheater. After all, they have an incredible glass-bark-facade-roof. This architectural design easily maintains an optimal temperature even in winter. Its area reaches 8.5 thousand square meters.m.
